We have hundreds of arboreal salamanders (A. lugubris) living in the trees behind our house. They are typically dark in color with yellow spots; however, last night, aside our usuals were these pale, spotless, 100% cream-colored A. lugubris variations. Can someone explain this, and are they albino?
